are up to 8 students in each class. Each of them was diagnosed with
regarding communication, behavioral and social skills.

special needs counselors who help as well. They all work together as one team.
The staff that accompanies those classes consists of two home room teachers,
two assistants, and special therapist team that works with various alternative
methods such as music, drama therapy, speech therapy , arts therapy, ect…
of all this structure there is a special needs coordinator and a counselor who
masters this area and provides guidance to all factors.

the school's psychologist to examine the progress and check the methods in
order to improve the treatment.

additional special education subjects such as: cooking, seamanship, robotics,

teacher, and learns part of the subjects according to his ability. Each
student gets a tailor made schedule consists of the subjects he covers in the
small class structure together with the content taught in the ordinary class.
It is important to clarify that the integration of those special students
is done both socially and cognitively.

other students do: they participate in school ceremonies; they take part in
Road safety projects, musical bands and so on.
students develop social contacts with the students of the big classes and
together they go on yearly trips, special spirit building days, theater shows
and other outdoor activities.

school's population as part of future integration within any social adult
structure, it is efficient and significant, both to the kids themselves and to
the kids of the ordinary classes who get to know the others, to accept
different kinds of people who are different from them, they all learn the
values of patience, respect to others and contribution.

special education students are graduates of elementary schools in Kiryat Ono
and special needs students from other cities who are accepted according to the
ministry of education's acceptance process.
